Florence Henderson better known as Carol Brady (The Brady Bunch Mum) has passed away at 82 years.
According to reports confirmed by Huffington Post, she died surrounded by family in Los Angeles. The cause was heart failure.
Florences’s career lasted more than 50 years. beginning on Broadway when she was just 18. She was quickly cast in a lead role in the seminal musical “Oklahoma!” before moving on to productions of “The Sound of Music,” “The King and I” and “South Pacific.”
She was loved by millions for her role as Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch from 1969 to 1974. According to Wiki, she appeared as a guest on many scripted and nonscripted (talk and reality show) television programs and as a panelist on numerous game shows. She was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars in 2010. On November 21, 2016, three days before her death, Florence appeared again on Dancing With The Stars giving moral support to her eldest Brady Bunch daughter Maureen McCormick, who played the popular Marcia Brady.
She hosted her own talk show, The Florence Henderson Show, and cooking show, Who’s Cooking with Florence Henderson, on Retirement Living TV (RLTV), in the years leading up to her death.
